What does refurbished, open box mean?
An open-box or display unit, not a new camera. Before it ships it is inspected, cleaned, firmware-updated and test-recorded. It may show light cosmetic marks that do not affect how it works.
How is it different from a new HERO13 Black?
Same model, CHDHX-131-RW, same contents. The box has been opened or the unit was used for display, so it can show light marks, and the box may be a plain replacement. That is the reason for the price.
Who provides the warranty, and for how long?
POV Depot provides a 1-year warranty on this camera. It is our warranty, not GoPro's. Open-box units sold by an independent retailer may not be covered by GoPro's own warranty.
Where do you ship?
Addresses in the contiguous United States. Shipping is free, delivery takes 7–10 business days, and tracking is emailed when the order is dispatched.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery. The camera must come back complete with every item from the box. Faulty, damaged or not as described: replaced or refunded in full, including shipping.
Is a memory card or GoPro subscription included?
No. Like the new retail camera, the box has no microSD card. The camera works fully without a GoPro subscription; that is optional and bought from GoPro directly.
